What is DineIn?

We are a service that allows you to get food delivered from about 50 Michiana area restaurants! Place your order with our service and we will make arrangements for the restaurant to prepare it and for a driver to deliver it!

How do I order?

The easiest way to order is right on this website! Alternatively, you may order by telephone at (574) 675-9999 or by fax at (574) 675-0414.

How much does it cost?

There is an order minimum that ranges from $10 to $100, depending on your location. In most cases, food prices are the same as if you dine in the restaurant. A handful of our partner restaurants add up to 10% to their delivery menu prices to cover the costs of packaging and/or other delivery costs. WE DO NOT ALLOW ANY OTHER MARKUPS OF REGULAR RESTAURANT PRICES. Please report any discrepancies outside of these guidelines to us so we can make the correction. We add a minimal delivery fee of $4.99* per restaurant. This fee may be slightly higher if you are further than 3 miles from the restaurant. The delivery fee covers the entire order, no matter how big or small. Because we work with so many restaurants, we receive price changes on a daily basis. Prices are subject to change at any time.

Breakfast orders can be arranged if ordered before 8:00PM the night before. You may place timed orders here on the website 24/7.

Can I cancel my order?

Your order will be sent to the restaurant for preparation as soon as a driver is available to go pick it up. Many times, this is immediately, but not always. We will not send your order to the restaurant before this time because we want your order to be hot and fresh, rather than prepared and getting cold while we wait for a driver to become available. Orders can be cancelled up to the point where they have been sent to the restaurant for preparation. Please call us at (574) 675-9999 for any cancellations and we will let you know whether the order can be cancelled or if it's too late. 

Do you sell drinks?

Yes! We offer cold Classic Coke, Diet Coke, Barq's Root Beer, Mello Yello, Sprite and Pibb Xtra, Minute Maid Lemonade and Fuze Iced Tea in cans for 75 cents or 6-Packs for $3.50. We also have 1/2 liter Aquafina bottled water for 89 cents. 2 liters of Coke, Diet Coke and Sprite are also available for large group orders.

Should I tip the driver?

If your driver is friendly and courteous, please remember that he or she earns a living by your appreciation of their efforts. A 15 - 20% gratuity is customary for all orders. An automatic tip will be added to any order over $50. The automatic tip schedule is as follows:

Under $50 Not automatic, 18% suggested
$50 - $100 Automatic 15%
$100 - $250 Automatic 14%
Over $250 Automatic 13%

How may I pay?

We accept cash, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Diner's Club and Discover. As of September 1, 2008, personal checks are no longer accepted. Corporate checks can be accepted with prior approval. House accounts can be setup for business accounts. Call us at (574) 675-9999 and ask for a manager if you'd like to setup a house account.

How long does it take?

We do our best to get your order dispatched as quickly as possible, usually within 45 - 60 minutes. Please take into consideration that restaurant preparation time, weather and traffic may affect us from time to time. We gladly accept timed orders hours or days in advanced to help ensure your desired delivery time.

What is your delivery area?

The drivers deliver to Mishawaka, Osceola, Granger and a large part of South Bend. We do accept orders for Elkhart, Edwardsburg and Niles with a $50 food minimum. Additionally, they will go further out of our delivery area, such as Goshen, Bristol, Wakarusa and Lakeville, for orders over $200. Delivery drivers are self-employed and have the right to turn down any order for any reason. We do our best to keep the delivery area map on the site updated to that effect.

Do you offer printer-friendly versions of the menus?

Yes! As you browse the menus on the site, click the printer icon to print. Alternatively, click here to download a PDF of the latest DineIn Guide. Why is there an extra charge on my credit card?

We do not charge your credit card twice, but depending on your card-issuing bank, it may temporarily appear as if we do. When you place an order and pay by credit card, we run an authorization only transaction against your credit card for the order total plus an additional potential tip. This amount is not a charge. It's just to hold the funds before we dispatch your order to the restaurant. When the driver arrives, you can add whatever tip you'd like and sign the credit card slip. The amount that you enter on the credit card slip is the only amount that will be charged. The original authorization will automatically fall off, sometimes immediately, or sometimes days later, depending on your bank's policy.

Note: When placing an order, you're hiring the services of a self-employed professional delivery driver. Drivers provide their own equipment, set their own hours and make their own business decisions. DineIn is a marketing and brokering service that markets restaurants and brokers orders to only the most qualified drivers.
